to read about Agnieszka who joined our team as a university graduate

"I joined Trotman Repp after graduating from university with an MSc Strategic Project Management degree. I was attracted to this profession as it provides many opportunities with a clear progression in a stable industry. Additionally expatriate taxation offers a varied and dynamic career whilst specialising in one element of the tax environment. Since joining Trotman Repp I have gained invaluable experience in UK and US taxation which has enabled me to take responsibility for the tax affairs of many individual clients and a corporate engagement. Additionally, I have received continuous education, both formal courses as well as informal training which have resulted in me receiving various professional tax qualifications and becoming a member of professional bodies. I have become an Enrolled Agent (EA) (US tax qualification) and qualified Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) member (UK tax body) this summer, afetr which I will start studying towards Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualifications. Working for Trotman Repp has helped me to develop numerous skills, aquire lots of specialized knowledge and above all confidence in expatriate taxation. More so, it has also been a very enjoyable experience to work with the team of very supportive professionals who often go out of their way to offer help and offer assistance as well as appreciate all the efforts and work"

to read about Alice and Holly who undertook an internship whilst at university

Alice:

"A lot of thought was put into how the internship was structured, which gave me an understanding of the responsibilities a job in this sector would entail. Direct communication with clients began right at the start of the internship, which meant I felt I was an integral part of the team for those eight weeks. I particularly liked the fact that, as well as intensive training in UK and US tax law at the start of the internship, there was further opportunity for training and development throught the time I spent at Trotman Repp."

Holly

"The internship was particularly hands-on from the first day I was given real responsibility and opportunity to interact directly with clients, a skill which is important in many sectors. I left the eight weeks feeling like I had worked hard and gained a wide range of new skills, as well as having had fun in a small team. I now feel like I have more of an insight into the tax industry, as well as the financial sector as a whole."
